So many Evangelicals

Image
  - taught this one guy who asked us what Jesus taught. So, I said faith, repentance baptism, and he said "no no he taught the "evangelio" (gospel)" and I'm like well dumb dumb maybe if you read in the Bible more you'd know what that word means instead of just hearing your pastor yell it to you 3 days a week - divis with elder eldredge. Got to play guitar with him and it was lit - divis with elder henling. Got to play settlers with him and it was lit - played settlers of catan into the late evening after divisions. - ok we've taught this one lady twice and her name is Monica. And first off she has a Jewish star on her door so that's why we knocked because we thought she was a Jew but actually she's a evangelical. And a pastora, woman pastor. So we pull up and this guy comes out and we ask if she's here and he's like she lives on the other street. And we like but we taught her. And he's like nope ciao. Bro fetching lied Lil bro was als...

 - one lady absolutely slammed the door on us so I dusted my shoes off, see D&C 24:15 - one dude told us his wife was too "gordita" to walk to church - had an amazing chat with hermano Manolo and his family. And it was funny to see because it was a hard day. It rained and that means the world is gonna end.  We had a chat and I was super happy and realized that the spirit was super strong so that was why I was so happy.  - Also one of hermano manolos kids' nickname is "negro" and yes it's not mean it's actually very normal  - and also this one member lady was talking forever and her husband told her "ok time to turn the radio off" - also saw a house that had a Jewish star on the front door. So we had to knock. Nope she was evangelical  - taught my first Jehovah witness. Yay - saw lots of gauchos (Argentine cowboys) on Saturday which was sick they were all dripped out. - ate some really good milanesa  - Lorena finally got baptized. She showed...

  - this guy told us he was SO busy. He wakes up at 10:30 or 11. Works until 1 or two and then takes a siesta - we got to go walk a member named Manolo. He's so fetching dope. He used to road bike a ton and was really fast. But besides that when we were with him all of our plans fell through  - also went to corrientes. Wow, it's beautiful. At least the tourist part. - lots of npc friends we see all the time Gaston (our homie who happens to be a drug addict and alcoholic and always yells MORMONES sometimes from like 200 feet away) franco( this guy speaks english and likes to talk to us) nasa( he works at the fruit store call the abuela negra, and sells us our fruit) - the office elders forgot to pay our electricity, so we lost electricity for two days - so the first night i literally got maybe 3 hours of sleep because it was so hot so the next night we went to the other elders house and got burgers, played d&d and got a good sleep with ac.  - got to go to stake confere...

Good times

  - divisions with elder pinto, good times where I learned a lot. He's from Buenos Aires, and hilarious. We got some yummy antonios for dinner - no one showed up to English class - we had a baptism this Sunday but the lady didn't show up. - ate empanadas - divisions with elder kiehl, in Barranqueras 1. Everyone in their area just rejects them it's actually hilarious - weirdly we are friends with lots of druggies. But kudos to them they're trying to change. This week this guy on a moto told his friend they needed to go pick up the two kilos of cocaine.. But at least they show up. One guy threw all his catholic idols in the garbage. Crazy. Santo muerto and gauchito Gil in the garbage is crazy. And another guy threw his santo muerto ring into the zanja. -dinner with jorge which was lit. Bro needs to get married. - today we got to make knives with this member named vicente. He's so so fetching cool. The gospel has changed his life and him as a human being. - but the kni...
