Charlie's Resistencia Report

 - lots of side quests and main quests this week - had divis with the elders in las lomitas it was lit. We ate pancakes so yummy - had lunch with the family cabrera we had pizza and goat :) - also found a frog that's been living in our house for who knows how long  - then we hit a crazy side quest and traveled out 4 hours to this native colony in the town called el potrillo. - and we got to meet the group they have and help 3 kids to get baptized. It was sick. And two of the men there who had never baptized got to do it so even cooler. - it was a sick road trip and the road trip pees and cookies were sublime. Elder Barlow would just pull over whenever anyone had to go pee and we would just go. No need for gas stations or restaurants  - i also did a confirmation which was hard in spanish but cool (not gonna lie) - we also taught Lucas everything he needed to know - we got that signature from his mom and Sunday he got baptized.  - wild week - first we got in trouble for cutting the branch presidents kids hair. Bummer for him we gave the kid a dope cut - another lady got mad at us for saying "bajar la caña" but its chill because she doesn't come to church lol - had some cool miracles. We were coming home late on night and this one lady talked forever and then this kids stopped us on the street but it paid off because we got to see xiomara and her family while they were just pulling up the house we were walking by - they didn't come to church lol but it felt like a miracle - this lady started breastfeeding her chilling during a lesson. Was very odd, had to keep looking at the ceiling for Ike 5 minutes  - also this week got a message from someone saying they need our help and it was urgent. So we dropped what we were doing and booked it over to this lady's house. She told us they were moving and the urgent help they needed was to cut the grass. - then we taught lucas the law of chastity and...

Solid week! Hard and fun all in one! - this week we got to go to las lomitas for p day. So we hoped on the bus and for the first time in a month we got to see other missionaries YAY  - we went to this place called el bañado. And it had a bunch of alligators and crocodiles(small and medium sizes) and birds and fish. So it was sick. Also super pretty - And we got to throw rocks at the alligators so it was lit - also super fun to escape estanislao for a little bit and enjoy a new beautiful place - but yeah basically we paid this random argentine to drive us out to the middle of nowhere to see these cools things - all these random Catholics be yelling at us this week - we also got xiomara to church with her family this week.  - lucas also came, which was sick. This kid is so cool. He is 16 and actually wants to change his life around. So cool - also we got to talk to this hermana. Hermana galvan. Who is a bit older and super grumpy.   - this week was both fun and hard - we met this kid named Lucas. He's super cool. He told us he always knew we would come. And also that he wanted to change his life.  - also made fried chicken so that's dope.  - also randomly felt like we needed to visit this lady, we dropped by and it turns out she's getting surgery so that's cool - no one came to church but that's ok a bunch of inactive people came so that was nice. - we also started the year 2026, wow crazy - everyone here just drinks so we had to be in the house by 7:30. But we made some cookies and went to bed early so solid Holliday  - my comp doesn't think I'm funny. That I'm too serious. And now I fear that I have lost my funny.  - lots of door knocking which is good but hard. Lots of people who like to yell at us and tell us that they KNOW Christ.
