Jesus did a lot of cool things
- one lady absolutely slammed the door on us so I dusted my shoes off, see D&C 24:15
- one dude told us his wife was too "gordita" to walk to church
- had an amazing chat with hermano Manolo and his family. And it was funny to see because it was a hard day. It rained and that means the world is gonna end. We had a chat and I was super happy and realized that the spirit was super strong so that was why I was so happy.
- Also one of hermano manolos kids' nickname is "negro" and yes it's not mean it's actually very normal
- and also this one member lady was talking forever and her husband told her "ok time to turn the radio off"
- also saw a house that had a Jewish star on the front door. So we had to knock. Nope she was evangelical
- taught my first Jehovah witness. Yay
- saw lots of gauchos (Argentine cowboys) on Saturday which was sick they were all dripped out.
- ate some really good milanesa
- Lorena finally got baptized. She showed up 40 minutes late but hey she got baptized
- also got to talk to jorge, rip he was elect but now he's not. Sad. He basically told us he was to learn more before he gets baptized. But it's ok
- also had the primary program this week and it was hilarious. Some of those kids love the microphone
- got a picture with Gaston our favorite homie
- and we had this chat with a member and her friend, and we taught her about prayer. And also gave her a book of Mormon. We learned today that the parents burned the book of Mormon.
Spiritual thought
This week I listened to the BYU talk from the byu football coach. And something I took away was that Jesus Christ did a lot of cool things. Healed people. Walked on water. Feed 5000 people. And yeah that was cool. But what really matters and what really is important was when he suffered. When he felt all pain and sin to ever exist. Only in his hardest, most difficult moment is when he did his greatest work. Lots of times we just want life to be easy sailing. But easy sailing doesn't make good sailors. If life is really hard just remember that, that's when great things happen.
Love you guys! And so does Jesus!
