Happy New Year 2026

 - this week was both fun and hard

- we met this kid named Lucas. He's super cool. He told us he always knew we would come. And also that he wanted to change his life.

- also made fried chicken so that's dope.

- also randomly felt like we needed to visit this lady, we dropped by and it turns out she's getting surgery so that's cool

- no one came to church but that's ok a bunch of inactive people came so that was nice.

- we also started the year 2026, wow crazy

- everyone here just drinks so we had to be in the house by 7:30. But we made some cookies and went to bed early so solid Holliday

- my comp doesn't think I'm funny. That I'm too serious. And now I fear that I have lost my funny.

- lots of door knocking which is good but hard. Lots of people who like to yell at us and tell us that they KNOW Christ. But would Christ yell at two random strangers. Nope I don't think so

- also there's this kid named Juanca who can't get baptized because his dad won't let him, but he comes to church and what a cool guy for coming to church faithfully.

Spiritual thought:
I listened to the talk "your great adventure" by elder Dieter F Uchtdorf. And everyone should go give it a listen. He talks that this life is a grand adventure and we need to get started. And what better way to start or restart by setting goals. Especially at the start of the new year. Set some new goals. Some goals that are simple and that you can do every day. Then do them. Especially when you don't want to. Jesus will reward you.
