Solid Week!

Solid week! Hard and fun all in one!

- this week we got to go to las lomitas for p day. So we hoped on the bus and for the first time in a month we got to see other missionaries YAY

 - we went to this place called el bañado. And it had a bunch of alligators and crocodiles(small and medium sizes) and birds and fish. So it was sick. Also super pretty

- And we got to throw rocks at the alligators so it was lit

- also super fun to escape estanislao for a little bit and enjoy a new beautiful place

- but yeah basically we paid this random argentine to drive us out to the middle of nowhere to see these cools things

- all these random Catholics be yelling at us this week

- we also got xiomara to church with her family this week. 

- lucas also came, which was sick. This kid is so cool. He is 16 and actually wants to change his life around. So cool

- also we got to talk to this hermana. Hermana galvan. Who is a bit older and super grumpy. But we got to talk to her. And as soon as we started talking about the temple she lit up. She began talking about the blessing and comfort she felt there. So sick and super true

- also had divisions with the lz. And I was with elder silva. He's from Venezuela and was rocking a dope tie with the stars and stripes 

- ate with the family cabrera some good giso. I love giso

- I ate so many oreos this week. Who knew oreos were so good.

- i've also been eating a lot of beans lately, also quite yummy

- i also got to give a priesthood blessing, always a cool experience 

- love me some good yoga and protein shakes in the mornings

- some members began to complain about the branch president and I sort of lost it but I told them in very very nice and strong words that their complains didn't matter because salvation is individual

- also decided to fast this week. It was lit

- also we had an activity where 17 youths showed up. Now they just need to come to church. But still lit

- we played the game signs (shout out hxp) and after about an hour and a half they figured it out

Spiritual thought
This week I've been thinking about repentance and forgiveness. And how important it is to seek repentance and especially change. Having the desire to grow and become. And actually be different. Be better.

Alright I'm basically in the middle of nowhere. So these emails are gonna be a little longer, hopefully funnier, maybe not completely politically correct. - I'm headed out to estanislao de campo. In formosa. It just about smack down in the middle of nowhere. - Took a 3 hour bus, then a 4 hour bus, and we got here like 11 at night. - and well this place is just smack dab in the middle of nowhere. - There are a lot of rumors about a lot of people here. Especially the branch president, i'll keep you informed.   - but so far nothing too crazy - but he did say the relief society was super necessary because whenever there is anything "hay que cocinar", well that's just not true  - accepted water from a members house, big mistake i paid for it that night - acquired protein powder hehe - ran out of money and comps very tight with his so ill be eating milk and protein powder for the next week or two - this place is wild. Focus on priorities

  - jorge and his family are dope - we had the eternal families and law of chastity discussion and wow it didn't go terribly wrong - we played d & d and ate oreos and milk and went to bed quite late. I never thought i would have so much fun  - had división and no one expected us - but we had a member chat with this guy vincente. He's super dope. The gospel has absolutely changed his life. He used to be an alcoholic and drug user. And now he has given it all up. And by no means is he perfect but he is trying and it shows. It was a testament to the fact the gospel changes lives - also dont worry its not just me and my comp playing d&d its the other elders two ok so we're not weird - the testigos tried to get us but they didn't -  don't worry but sad because they were two old ladies so we couldn't bible bash :( - hermano sena showed up to church and it was actually was so cool :) -jorge and his family are also super cool they came to church too :) - also ha...

Happy New Year 2026

  - this week was both fun and hard - we met this kid named Lucas. He's super cool. He told us he always knew we would come. And also that he wanted to change his life.  - also made fried chicken so that's dope.  - also randomly felt like we needed to visit this lady, we dropped by and it turns out she's getting surgery so that's cool - no one came to church but that's ok a bunch of inactive people came so that was nice. - we also started the year 2026, wow crazy - everyone here just drinks so we had to be in the house by 7:30. But we made some cookies and went to bed early so solid Holliday  - my comp doesn't think I'm funny. That I'm too serious. And now I fear that I have lost my funny.  - lots of door knocking which is good but hard. Lots of people who like to yell at us and tell us that they KNOW Christ.
